Melody on Monday #19

Combine hip-hop, soul and love and we have Kero One’s ‘In all the wrong places’ as this weeks melody on Monday. With his debut album released in 2005, he started out with just 50 released records from this album Windmills of the soul. It reminds me of summer summertime and hip-hop in the 80’s-90’s. In times when we talk about Bruno Mars and the appropriation of R’n’B for Grammys, this album is nostalgic and is nice reminder of authenticity and inspiration not limitation. There is always a genesis with a particular genre but eventually its exclusivity is lost with multiplicity. Enjoy
